Junior Software Engineer / AI Engineer

About the role

Join AI Robotix to build internal AI‑powered platforms that support biomedical research and drug discovery. You will work on therapeutic hypothesis systems, scientific evidence analysis, biomedical data pipelines, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, and AI‑assisted research tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for AI‑driven biomedical applications.
• Implement data pipelines that ingest, process, and store biomedical datasets.
• Build and integrate RAG‑based modules for evidence retrieval and generation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate scientific requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of the platform.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in applying AI to medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Willingness to acquire basic knowledge of biology and biomedical concepts.
• Evidence of technical work through projects, internships, GitHub repositories, or a portfolio (up to two years of relevant experience).

Required skills

• Practical experience with Python.
• Fundamentals of modern backend development.
• Understanding of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
