Ingeniero QA Funcional

About the role

The company is looking for a QA Engineer specialized in functional testing to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. The role involves early detection of critical defects using manual functional testing techniques and collaborating with development teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and execute functional and non‑functional test cases following ISTQB standards.
• Perform functional testing of web, API, and mobile applications.
• Utilize BrowserStack and Azure Test Plans for test execution and management.
• Conduct performance testing using Apache JMeter.
• Work within Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in functional and non‑functional testing.
• University degree or bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems or a related field.
• Intermediate level of English.
• ISTQB Foundation certification or solid knowledge of ISTQB principles.

Required skills

• ISTQB testing methodology.
• BrowserStack for cross‑browser testing.
• Azure Test Plans for test management.
• Apache JMeter for performance testing.
• API, web, and mobile testing experience.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
