Global Transportation Export Sr Specialist

About the role

The Global Transportation Export Sr Specialist is responsible for planning and executing export shipments for assigned regions. You will work closely with affiliates, freight forwarders, distribution centers and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant deliveries of medical technology products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute export shipments from distribution centers on schedule.
• Collaborate with worldwide business units, regional teams and carriers to improve transit efficiency.
• Communicate order status, product availability and regulatory issues to customers and planners.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain, warehouse and traffic departments to guarantee on‑time shipments.
• Ensure export procedures are followed as designed by plants, 3PLs and logistics providers.
• Plan, coordinate and optimise deliveries using SAP/TMS.
• Troubleshoot EDI transactions, resolve discrepancies and implement process improvements.
• Monitor key performance indicators and generate daily KPI reports.
• Provide training to new Customer Service Representatives and act as a resource on policies, product and regulatory information.

Required profile

• Strong teamwork and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• SAP (including ECC) and Transportation Management System (TMS) proficiency.
• Experience with EDI transaction processing.
• Familiarity with standard business computer applications.
