Global Events Financial Controller (Remote)

About the role

Tether is seeking a detail‑oriented Global Events Financial Controller to act as the fiscal engine for its Global Events department. Working 100% remotely, you will oversee the entire financial lifecycle of international events, from initial vendor quotations to final payments and annual budget reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate vendor quotations and ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Develop, monitor, and report event budgets, providing real‑time financial clarity to the Events Team.
• Manage contract signature processes and maintain proper documentation.
• Oversee invoicing and payment workflows across multiple currencies and entities.
• Perform multi‑currency and multi‑company reconciliations.
• Prepare post‑event financial reports and analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting for events, travel, hospitality, or related sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
