Accountant – Accounts Payable & Month-End Close

About the role

The Accountant will support InvestorFlow’s global finance function from the Dominican Republic, reporting to the U.S.-based Controller. The role focuses on accounts payable, expense management and month‑end close activities for U.S. and UK entities.

Key responsibilities

• Process U.S. and UK accounts payable, employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit card transactions, ensuring proper documentation, coding and tax treatment.
• Maintain vendor records, coordinate payment scheduling and integrate approved transactions into NetSuite (US) and Xero (UK) general ledger systems.
• Prepare prepaid expense schedules, bank reconciliations, fixed‑asset schedules and related depreciation entries.
• Execute balance‑sheet and general‑ledger reconciliations, investigate reconciling items and support month‑end close activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of general accounting principles and month‑end close processes.
• Experience handling accounts payable, expense management, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• NetSuite (or other major ERP system) and Xero.
• Advanced Excel.
