Forward Deployed Engineer (AI & Business Transformation)

About the role

A global technology and creative network is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to embed with client teams and redesign workflows, set up operating models and drive technology adoption. The role is hands-on and consultative: you run organizational diagnostics and build functional, AI-powered proofs of concept to show real value. It is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Map current-state workflows end-to-end to find root causes such as handoff failures, governance gaps and tooling mismatches.
• Redesign target-state operations for leaner workflows, clearer decision rights and effective human-agent collaboration.
• Design operating models covering organization, roles, governance, cross-functional interaction and value realization.
• Set performance baselines and measurement frameworks, and identify value gaps in stalled implementations.
• Build working AI-powered prototypes using LLM APIs, platform-native features and low-code/no-code environments, and use demos to align stakeholders.
• Advise clients on where AI adds value and where it distracts, and support rollout through process design and change management.
• Design enablement materials, scope engagements, assess readiness and adoptability, and contribute reusable frameworks and tools.

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in management consulting or equivalent roles in enterprise technology, SaaS or professional services.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two of: organizational design, operating model transformation, change management, technology enablement, process engineering or go-to-market execution.
• Proven track record of influencing and aligning senior stakeholders with structured, evidence-based arguments.
• Ability to work autonomously without a dedicated engineering team, and to scope and build a working proof of concept quickly.
• Experience in large-scale organizational assessments, process redesigns or technology rollouts is highly preferred.
