Digital Transformation & Continuous Improvement Manager

About the role

Danone is looking for a Digital Transformation & Continuous Improvement Manager to drive digitalization and continuous improvement across its multi-country Operations organization in Central Europe. The role turns business needs into practical digital solutions and engages the Operations community in continuous improvement, combining hands-on technical development with end-to-end ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the intake process to gather and understand the needs of the Operations community.
• Translate business needs into practical digital solutions and choose the most appropriate tools and technologies.
• Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, from process analysis and design through development, implementation and maintenance.
• Design and deliver solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Power Query, Excel/VBA and SAP scripting.
• Build a network of Continuous Improvement Ambassadors and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support the development of digital capabilities through knowledge sharing, coaching and hands-on involvement in selected projects.
• Act as a key link between Operations and IT, collaborating with local, European and global IT teams and the wider Danone network, and cooperate with external technology solution and support providers when needed.

Required profile

• Around 5 years of professional experience, including 2-3 years in a similar role.
• An appropriate university degree or relevant practical training.
• Ability to understand business processes and turn them into practical digital solutions.
• Experience owning solutions across their lifecycle, from process analysis to implementation and maintenance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to work across Operations, IT and the wider organization.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, VBA and SAP scripting.
• Strong hands-on skills in Power BI, Power Query and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize initiatives by business value and select appropriate tools.
• Ability to share knowledge and coach less experienced developers.
