Financial Controller – Dominican Republic

About the role

Aria Hotels is expanding its hospitality portfolio in Latin America and seeks a Financial Controller to become the financial backbone of its Dominican Republic operations. Reporting to the Head of LATAM, you will work closely with an external accounting firm and provide executive‑level financial reporting in English for an international leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the external accounting firm to ensure timely delivery of tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Manage invoices, payment logs, accounts payable/receivable, and perform daily transaction recording and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Lead the preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis of the annual operating budget.
• Support multi‑year financial planning, scenario analysis, and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Analyze departmental costs, produce profitability reports by property or cost centre, and monitor KPIs such as GOP, EBITDA, and cost per available room.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and executive summaries for LATAM leadership and Greece headquarters.
• Coordinate tax documentation (ITBIS, ISR, withholding taxes) and manage RNC renewals and social security contributions.

Required profile

• Professional accounting background with experience in hospitality or related service industries.
• International mindset and ability to operate within a global corporate structure.
• Strong business acumen and capability to produce clear, executive‑level financial reports in English.
