Finance & Compliance Specialist (Generalist)

About the role

Join a dynamic finance team supporting the food and consumer goods sector. As a Finance & Compliance Specialist (Generalist) you will ensure smooth cash flow, accurate accounting, and regulatory compliance for a global operation.

Key responsibilities

• Apply customer payments (ACH, wire, checks, credit cards) to invoices in the ERP system and reconcile daily cash receipts.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments, maintaining audit‑ready records.
• Monitor accounts‑receivable aging, conduct collections via email and phone, and address client inquiries.
• Perform inventory transaction reconciliations and generate financial reports.
• Support month‑end close activities and ensure compliance with Dominican statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, and collections.
• Experience in food, CPG, manufacturing or distribution environments is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (experience with SAGE or InSequel is advantageous).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Ability to process high‑volume transactions with precision.
