Facilities & EHS Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Facilities & EHS Engineer to join our SCM Center of Excellence in Santo Domingo. The role will support the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of our facility systems while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs for all facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Oversee facility‑related projects, work orders and contractor activities to guarantee business continuity.
• Coordinate operational services including security (INTERCOM), waste, water and energy supply, cleaning (PRIME), landscaping, utilities, lighting and HVAC systems.
• Support AXA XL risk‑management requirements and transportation logistics for inbound and outbound items.
• Identify, justify and drive capital‑expenditure requests for common areas, equipment and lease‑hold improvements.
• Administer the Contractor Management Program, handling qualification, onboarding, training, badge issuance and EHS compliance.
• Ensure adherence to MESH, ISO 14001 and other legal/environmental standards.

Required profile

• Experience in facilities engineering or maintenance within an industrial or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of EHS regulations and risk‑management frameworks.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams, contractors and leadership.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
