About the role

We are seeking a Legal Contracts Specialist to structure, negotiate, and manage strategic contracts for our beverage business across the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The role ensures proper risk allocation, contractual efficiency, and legal protection for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate strategic supply, distribution, lease, technology, and service contracts.
• Analyze legal risks and propose protective clauses, mitigation mechanisms, and decision alternatives.
• Implement and update contract policies, templates, and standards for DR and Haiti.
• Advise internal stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle, from request to execution and post‑signing monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure compliance with civil, commercial, corporate, and contractual regulations.
• Track critical contractual obligations, expirations, renewals, and alerts to avoid legal exposure or cost overruns.
• Prepare risk matrices, reports, and documentation for audits and legal decision‑making.
• Manage digital tools for contract creation, storage, and overall contract administration.

Required profile

• Law degree with a diploma in contractual, civil, commercial, and corporate law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal contracts specialist or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and corporate law applicable in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
• Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
• Experience designing and implementing contract policies, templates, and standards.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Willingness to work onsite in Santo Domingo Oeste (accessible by main‑avenue bus routes).
