Engineer III - Process Development

About the role

Integer is seeking an Engineer III to lead process development initiatives for new product introductions. The role focuses on creating safe, high‑quality, and cost‑effective manufacturing solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop processes and equipment to launch new products into manufacturing sites.
• Identify, characterize, and optimize existing or new process and equipment technologies.
• Validate processes and manufacturing lines, including production‑line layout design.
• Lead process‑improvement projects for existing plant operations.
• Perform estimations of production times, staffing needs, and related costs.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS), safety, environmental, security, and FDA regulations.
• Investigate internal and external technology trends and recommend best practices.
• Evaluate, develop, and implement new technologies of moderate scope and complexity.
• Procure equipment and create technical documentation such as protocols.

Required profile

• Strong engineering background with broad knowledge of manufacturing principles.
• Experience in process development and equipment design for medical‑device or high‑precision production.
• Familiarity with QMS, FDA regulations, and safety/environmental standards.
• Ability to work with internal and external customers to meet or exceed expectations.
