Engineer II – Manufacturing

About the role

The Engineer II – Manufacturing will apply general and advanced engineering methods to support Integer’s medical‑device and specialty‑battery product lines. Working under occasional guidance, you will help ensure that internal and external customer expectations are consistently met while upholding the company’s values and regulatory commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques, tools and procedures to develop and improve products and processes.
• Review and modify specifications, work instructions and procedures to address minor adaptations.
• Conduct failure analysis, evaluate existing products, processes and materials, and recommend improvements.
• Participate in moderate‑complexity projects, documenting and implementing new product and process technologies.
• Plan, schedule and execute engineering tasks within larger projects or lead smaller‑scope projects.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems, Safety, Environmental, Security and FDA regulations.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently while seeking occasional mentorship.
• Strong judgment to select and adapt standard engineering methods.
• Proactive mindset to identify technical challenges and suggest improvements.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Familiarity with FDA regulations applicable to medical devices.
• Understanding of Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems.
• Experience with failure analysis and product/process improvement.
