Engineer II – Manufacturing (Extrusion)

About the role

Integer is seeking an Engineer II to support manufacturing extrusion processes for medical device and specialty battery products. The role blends fundamental engineering methods with emerging technologies, ensuring internal and external customer expectations are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques to evaluate, modify, and improve specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
• Conduct failure analysis on existing products, processes, and materials, recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in moderate‑complexity projects to develop, document, and implement new product and process technologies.
• Plan, schedule, and execute engineering tasks within larger projects or lead smaller‑scope initiatives.
• Review procedures and plans prior to implementation, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, environmental, security, and FDA regulations.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Ability to work independently with occasional guidance from senior engineers.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements in the medical device industry.
