Ecommerce Catalog & Data Operations Specialist

About the role

Stella Ventures Collective, a client of Proxima, is hiring an Ecommerce Catalog & Data Operations Specialist to support product catalog management, inventory administration and ecommerce operations across several client accounts. The position is part-time and contract-based, with a full-time option available, and is based in the office in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ecommerce product catalogs, including SKUs, product attributes, categories, pricing and inventory.
• Clean, organize, format and validate large product datasets using Excel, Google Sheets and CSV files.
• Perform bulk product imports, updates and corrections across ecommerce platforms.
• Identify and resolve duplicate, missing or inaccurate product and inventory records.
• Configure platform settings, inventory rules, supplier feeds and product mappings.
• Support customer onboarding, initial catalog setup and platform configuration.
• Monitor supplier feeds, inventory synchronization and data imports, and run catalog QA before products are published.
• Maintain accurate documentation, track assignments and communicate issues proactively.

Required profile

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in ecommerce operations, product catalog management, inventory administration or data management preferred.
• Direct experience managing product catalogs, SKUs, product attributes, pricing and inventory records.
• Experience with bulk product imports, updates and data corrections.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms and configuring product or inventory settings.
• Ability to identify and fix missing, duplicate or inconsistent product data.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including CSV manipulation, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, data cleanup and validation.
• PREFERRED: experience with SureDone or similar multichannel ecommerce platforms.
• PREFERRED: familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Walmart Marketplace or similar platforms.
• PREFERRED: experience with supplier product feeds, PIM or inventory management systems, and product data mapping.
