Design Services Supervisor

About the role

The Design Services Supervisor leads the daily coordination and execution of design support activities for Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division. This position blends hands‑on technical design work with team leadership to ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CAD designers, assigning work, prioritising tasks and monitoring performance.
• Own the Change Order (CO) process: review requests, set priorities, estimate effort and maintain the backlog.
• Allocate design resources based on capacity, skill set and business priorities.
• Track and report workload, CO status and key metrics to the Design Services Manager.
• Provide technical guidance on 3D modelling, drawings and engineering documentation.
• Review and approve design outputs for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Support cross‑functional projects, including new product development and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes, CO workflow and team efficiency.
• Enforce proper use of PDM systems and CAD data governance.
• Assist in onboarding, training and mentoring new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or Industrial Design.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering standards and safety practices.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Creo Parametric.
• Proficiency with Enovia.
• Strong MS Office skills.
