Caribico Fellowship – Remote Leadership Role for Caribbean Chapters

About the role

The Caribico Fellowship is a remote, volunteer‑based leadership position that supports Caribico’s mission to develop the next generation of Caribbean leaders. Fellows act as the primary on‑the‑ground representatives for Caribico across Spanish‑speaking Caribbean regions, coordinating chapter activities and fostering regional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead virtual meetings with chapter leads, monitor progress of regional initiatives, and ensure alignment with Caribico’s mission and values.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new chapter members and leaders throughout the region.
• Facilitate communication between chapters and the central organization, providing updates and feedback.
• Promote regional integration, youth empowerment, and community engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong leadership, coordination, and project‑management abilities.
• Availability of approximately 5–7 hours per week.
• Genuine commitment to Caribbean development, regional integration, and youth empowerment.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic volunteer environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools such as email, messaging applications, video‑conferencing platforms, and shared document systems.
