Business Operations & Strategy Manager

About the role

Horatio is a global BPO operating across the US, Dominican Republic, Honduras and Colombia, partnering with high-growth, venture-backed startups. As Business Operations & Strategy Manager, you will work directly with company founders and executive leadership to solve complex, cross-functional operational challenges. You will own initiatives from start to finish, turning high-level requests into fully designed, budgeted and actionable plans, rather than focusing on reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design programs: build fair, goal-aligned bonus structures and communicate them clearly to teams
• Build visibility: develop monthly gross margin dashboards per account
• Connect systems: integrate HR, workforce management, billing and payroll (e.g. in Snowflake)
• Ensure data integrity: clean and align source HR records with roles and billing rules
• Turn ambiguous problems into metrics, analyze cross-system data and target root causes
• Build end-to-end operational plans, financial and P&L models, and resolve executive objections early
• Present complete, decision-ready proposals to founders and lead cross-functional rollouts and dashboard adoption
• Evaluate software and vendors, mitigate P&L risks and build repeatable playbooks
• Act as a strategic liaison, communicating insights through briefings and decks
• Uncover growth opportunities and build trend-forecasting models for revenue, volume and churn

Required profile

• Experience in Ops, BizOps, strategy or consulting
• BizOps, FP&A or consulting background (preferably in BPO, staffing or contact centers)
• Bachelor's degree required (MBA a plus)
• Fluent English required; Spanish strongly preferred
• Ability to bridge team communication and complex data architecture, with direct access to founders

Required skills

• Hands-on financial modeling: P&L, unit economics, margins and scenario modeling
• Advanced Excel/Sheets and BI tools such as Looker, Power BI or Tableau
• SQL (a plus); AI tools such as Claude
• Crisp executive writing and structured problem-solving focused on P&L impact
