Business Intelligence Technician (Application Development & Analytics)

About the role

The Business Intelligence Technician will support Eaton's Business Intelligence, Data Management and Analytics team in delivering data‑driven solutions. You will combine technical expertise with creative problem‑solving to improve decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the BI team in executing its roadmap and enable strategic use of data.
• Lead BPI events and participate in RIEs for data collection, management, and analysis.
• Provide MAPICS system knowledge, create queries, and support business processes such as MO creation and warranty receipt.
• Maintain and support home‑grown O365 applications (material request, replenishment, etc.).
• Maintain Power BI Service reports, including Kaizen, Action Tracker, Allocation Tracker, ECO, Project Portfolio, and Haina Load Performance.
• Improve data quality and streamline processes across departments.
• Derive, interpret, and present data analysis results using visualisation and storytelling techniques.
• Apply machine‑learning, data‑mining, and statistical methods to solve business problems.
• Provide work estimates, participate in design reviews, and execute agile work plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering‑related field.
• Minimum 3 years of technical or administrative support experience; experience with MS Excel, Power BI, PowerQuery is a plus.
• Experience working on projects or small teams in a production environment.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
• Availability Monday to Friday, 8 am‑5 pm.
