Business Intelligence Technician (OPEX)

About the role

The Business Intelligence Technician will support Eaton's Business Intelligence, Data Management and Analytics team in delivering data‑driven solutions. You will help streamline data collection, management and presentation processes, ensuring high‑quality information for real‑time decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize processes and create efficiencies across departments for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Maintain and provide technical support for home‑grown O365 applications (e.g., material request, replenishment systems).
• Support and troubleshoot Power BI Service reports such as Kaizen, Action Tracker, Allocation Tracker, ECO, Project Portfolio, and Load Performance.
• Assist MAPICS users with system knowledge, including creation of MOs, queries, reports, and warranty receipt processes.
• Maintain finance‑focused reports from the MAPICS AA environment.
• Interpret data analysis results using visualization tools and storytelling techniques.
• Apply statistical, machine‑learning, and data‑mining methods to uncover patterns and support business problems.
• Provide work estimates, participate in design reviews, and execute agile work plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree student with at least 90% of engineering credits completed.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Minimum 2 years of technical or administrative support experience.
• At least 1 year of experience designing data‑management solutions or practical data‑science work using Excel, Power BI, and PowerQuery.
• Proven ability to solve critical business problems and identify new opportunities.
• Experience working on projects or small teams in a production environment.
• Availability Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm.
