Auxiliar Contable – Gestión Fiscal y Tesorería

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support our finance department in Santiago de los Caballeros. The role focuses on fiscal processes, bank reconciliations and the management of tax and social security obligations. The successful candidate will be organized, detail‑oriented and committed to regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries and perform adjustments for the annual fiscal closing (IR‑2).
• Prepare data for the DGT‑3 form for annual permanent staff.
• Calculate and register information for employee withholding declarations (IR‑3).
• Coordinate ITBIS calculations with auditors and support audit processes.
• Prepare bank reconciliations for corporate accounts.
• Generate payment orders for labor costs.
• Manage Treasury of Social Security (TSS) processes and related withholdings (ITBIS, ISR, TSS).
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and obligations such as IT‑1, IR‑3, IT‑12, IR‑17, TSS and INFOTEP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar accounting positions.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of the accounting cycle.
• Experience gathering accounting information for DGII reporting.
• Familiarity with TSS procedures and fiscal vouchers.
• Experience in bank reconciliations and journal entry recording.
• Ability to support Form 606 and other tax declarations.
