Associate Buyer – Center of Excellence

About the role

The Associate Buyer CoE will manage purchasing activities for assigned vendors and SKUs, supporting Eaton manufacturing plants across the Americas from our Center of Excellence in the Dominican Republic. The role ensures timely procurement, operational efficiency, and strong vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review, and process purchase orders accurately and on time for assigned vendors and SKUs.
• Communicate with vendors regarding order status, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
• Execute exception messages from MRP/Kinaxis and manage internal escalations.
• Monitor inventory levels, perform daily follow‑up and analyze MRP recommendations.
• Support administrative and operational purchasing tasks, including documentation and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and ensure proper documentation for assigned SKUs and vendors.
• Manage timely resolution of supplier invoices and daily transaction issues.

Required profile

• Associate degree (or final‑term university student) in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of clerical experience in procurement, sourcing, material management or related areas.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
