Analista de Contabilidad Impositiva

About the role

The Tax Accounting Analyst will ensure accurate recording, calculation, analysis and reporting of all fiscal obligations of the bank. This position supports compliance with the Dominican Republic’s tax authority (DGII) and the Superintendency of Banks (SB), contributing to the institution’s financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, validate and submit DGII data files (e.g., forms 606, 607, 608, 609).
• Calculate and file monthly tax returns such as ITBIS, ISR, IR‑17 and other applicable declarations.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between tax accounting entries and filed returns.
• Ensure tax records comply with the Superintendency of Banks’ Accounting Manual for Financial Institutions.
• Respond to internal and external auditors and tax authority inquiries.
• Stay updated on new tax laws, regulations and resolutions affecting the Dominican banking sector.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA equivalency (Exequátur) is a plus.
• 2‑3 years of full‑cycle tax accounting experience, preferably in banking, finance or a recognized audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of the Dominican Tax Code (Law 11‑92) and its implementing regulations.
