Accounting & Finance Specialist

Ziler connects Dominican talent with U.S. businesses, and is looking for an Accounting & Finance Specialist to support one of its U.S.-based clients. The specialist helps leadership understand the financial health of the business, spot growth opportunities and support strategic decisions. The role suits someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems and presenting financial information clearly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day general ledger accounting activities
• Prepare and post journal entries, review and analyze transactions, and classify bank transactions, expenses and other financial activity
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts and presentations for leadership
• Take part in annual budgeting and financial planning, and support workforce planning and capital budgeting
• Build charts, dashboards and financial visualizations
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and recommend solutions
• Partner with cross-functional teams and support profit and loss analysis across clients and business units
• Review pricing for client proposals and give financial recommendations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional-level English (written and spoken)
