Abogado Junior – Asesoría Legal Civil y Corporativa

About the role

As a Junior Lawyer at Plus Legal you will support daily legal advice for the firm’s clients, focusing on civil and corporate law. The role is full‑time, onsite in Santo Domingo, and offers the chance to work on a variety of legal projects under senior supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, minutes, internal communications, and other legal documents.
• Prepare legal reports, opinions, and memoranda.
• Research applicable statutes, case law, and doctrine for assigned matters.
• Assist in negotiations with counterparties and help prepare for hearings or meetings.
• Collaborate on multiple legal projects within the firm.

Required profile

• Degree in Law with bar admission (or pending).
• Strong knowledge of civil and corporate law, with interest in labor and employment law.
• Ability to interpret legislation and produce clear legal opinions.
• Research competence, including use of legal databases and staying updated on legislative changes.
• Negotiation aptitude, conflict management, and effective communication with clients.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work well in a dynamic team environment.
