Supervisor(a) de Proyectos

About the role

The Project Supervisor will join Barrick's Capital Projects team at the Pueblo Viejo mine. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing capital projects while ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety and environmental objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop master and strategic project plans that create inter‑related programs delivering business benefits.
• Manage the creation of documentation packages required to secure capital resources and funding for future projects.
• Supervise recurring deliverables such as work plans, weekly and monthly reports, providing corrections, feedback and coaching as needed.
• Prepare budgets and coordinate with Supply Chain to obtain engineering and construction proposals.
• Define project scopes of work (SoW) aligned with planning requirements for sustainable and continuous mining operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Higher education in Project Planning and Management (preferred).
• Fluent Spanish (oral and written) and intermediate to advanced English (oral and written).
• Availability to work on‑site in Pueblo Viejo, Sánchez Ramírez, Monday‑Friday, 6:30 am‑4:30 pm.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of topography.
• Design software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS.
• Project management tools: MS Project, Primavera.
