Security and Safety Manager

About the role

The Security and Safety Manager will join the pre‑opening team of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia. Reporting to the Director of Security and Safety, you will be responsible for protecting guests, residents, employees and assets while ensuring compliance with Four Seasons standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Security and Safety team across the resort, residences and support facilities.
• Conduct pre‑opening risk assessments, operational‑readiness inspections and develop security, occupational‑safety and emergency‑response procedures.
• Recruit, onboard, train, schedule and coach security personnel, maintaining high performance and professionalism.
• Oversee security patrols, access‑control points, CCTV monitoring, key control, loading zones and employee entrances.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless safety integration throughout the property.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing security and safety operations in a hospitality or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of occupational‑safety standards, emergency response planning and local security regulations.
• Leadership ability to develop and motivate a diverse security team.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
