Naranjo TSF Construction Manager

About the role

Barrick is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the construction of the new Naranjo Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) at the Pueblo Viejo Mine. The role will ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery while meeting the highest quality and seismic‑hazard standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and direct the construction team for the Naranjo TSF project.
• Oversee all construction aspects, including supervision, surveying, contractor management, quality assurance, engineering and support functions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to national and international team members.
• Collaborate regularly with project and site management to report progress and integrate activities.

Required profile

• Graduate in Civil Engineering with experience in project and management fields.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and LATAM experience.
• Experience in Front End Planning, engineering/geotechnical work, and TSF projects.
• Experience with CQA and CQC processes.
• Strong engagement and relationship‑management abilities.
• 10+ years of experience in construction and management of large‑scale projects, including tailings storage facilities.
