Learning & Development Coordinator

About the role

Join the pre‑opening team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia as a Learning & Development Coordinator. You will support and coordinate learning programs that embed Four Seasons culture, service standards and the Golden Rule, creating an engaging experience for every employee.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics, materials, schedules, attendance and communications for all property learning and development programs.
• Support delivery of induction and onboarding programs, including Embark, cultural orientation and Tropicalia immersion experiences.
• Facilitate orientation, culture, service and compliance training sessions in English and Spanish.
• Maintain training calendars, schedule rooms, equipment, transportation, meals and printed materials.
• Keep accurate employee learning records, attendance reports and certifications in the LMS.
• Prepare training reports, presentations, surveys and certificates, and assist in evaluating program effectiveness.
• Assist with development, adaptation and translation of training materials and digital‑learning content.
• Partner with People & Culture and operational departments to identify learning needs and support employee‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree or technical qualification in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Communications or related field.
• 1‑3 years experience in Learning & Development, training coordination, HR or hospitality operations; luxury‑hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
• Confident presentation and facilitation abilities, creativity and passion for helping others learn.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with learning‑management systems.
• Familiarity with digital content or instructional‑design tools (preferred).
