Senior Product Development Engineer

About the role

Integer is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead innovative projects that advance the company’s technological capabilities in medical devices and high‑end niche batteries. The role focuses on delivering solutions that meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations while adhering to stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex product development challenges.
• Lead cross‑functional projects, influencing teams and managing moderate resources, risk, and complexity.
• Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending best practices.
• Develop, evaluate, and implement new technologies of significant scope.
• Prepare and review technical documentation such as protocols, reports, specifications, and work instructions.
• Identify, procure, and integrate new equipment and technology.
• Supervise up to 4‑5 technicians or associate engineers and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in product development or design engineering, preferably in medical device or battery sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor technical staff.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, FDA regulations, and related compliance frameworks.
