Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes. The role focuses on achieving quality, delivery, and productivity targets while supporting new product introductions and capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing line processes, equipment, fixtures, and tools to meet yield, scrap, and productivity goals.
• Monitor and improve metrics such as Yield, Scrap, and Productivity using Eaton Business System (EBS) tools.
• Develop and update PFMEA, Control Plans, VSM, Standard Work, and Error‑Proofing documentation.
• Lead continuous‑improvement events (VSM, 3P, TPM, 5S, problem‑solving) and support change orders and change control.
• Analyze customer complaints, create corrective action plans, and ensure compliance with EQMS quality standards.
• Execute monthly safety inspections, develop JSA documents, and support EHS training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing engineering role.
• Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (SolidWorks is a plus).
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• Green Belt certification and experience as an ISO9000 Internal/Lead Auditor.
• Project management and structured problem‑solving techniques.
