Sales Representative – Nutrition

About the role

Abbott’s Nutrition Division is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth of its science‑based nutrition products in the Santo Domingo territory. The role focuses on building awareness among health‑care professionals (HCPs) about the importance of nutrition and the advantages of Abbott’s portfolio, which includes brands such as Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure® and Glucerna®.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of medical and nutritional science, healthcare trends and digital tools to educate HCPs.
• Identify and target HCPs, develop customer plans to meet coverage, call‑rate and frequency objectives.
• Implement customer segmentation, generate new leads and report daily activities in the Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) system.
• Analyse market and category opportunities to increase market share at the account level.
• Design and execute multichannel engagement plans that stimulate demand and strengthen recommendation of Abbott products.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with HCPs across different levels of influence.
• Communicate Abbott’s unique value proposition from the HCP perspective.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of medical and nutritional science.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with health‑care professionals.
• Experience in customer segmentation and market analysis.
• Capability to plan and execute multichannel engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in reporting daily activities using the SFE system.
