Legal Collections Manager

About the role

One Park Financial is seeking a seasoned Legal Collections Manager to lead its legal collections function. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will shape strategy, oversee day‑to‑day operations, and act as a trusted advisor on risk and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and evaluate the legal collections team, including the Legal Supervisor.
• Define and implement collection policies, processes and long‑term strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex collection cases and negotiate high‑impact contracts.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide strategic legal counsel on business decisions and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure department compliance with all applicable laws, proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Collaborate with Associate Corporate Counsel to develop risk‑reduction strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services legal collections or related functions.
• Proven track record of managing and developing legal teams.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments affecting financial collections.
• Excellent judgment and ability to advise senior leadership on strategic matters.

Required skills

• Expertise in legal collection processes and contract negotiation.
• In‑depth knowledge of compliance and risk management in financial services.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes and regulations.
