Lead Cloud Engineer / DevOps (GCP)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer / DevOps specialist to design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure that powers our client’s data and software platforms. The role focuses on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Manage GKE clusters, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficient resource utilization.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Monitor infrastructure health through observability, logging, alerting, and incident response.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to support Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, and BigQuery pipelines.
• Maintain and modernize hybrid environments that include Windows Server, Oracle, SQL Server, and legacy AWS resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cloud and DevOps initiatives in a complex, hybrid environment.
• Strong collaboration skills with data and software engineering teams.
• Ability to drive reliability, security, and automation across development, staging, and production.
