Installation & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Installation & Infrastructure Engineer to deploy, configure, maintain and support the infrastructure that powers our technology solutions. You will work closely with engineering, operations, support and customer‑facing teams to ensure installations are secure, reliable and meet technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document software installations and supporting infrastructure across development, testing, staging and production environments.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows‑ and Linux‑based servers.
• Configure network connectivity, firewall rules, DNS settings, VPNs, certificates, ports and related components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
• Participate in scheduled deployments, maintenance windows and on‑call support as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration or related technical implementation roles.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2, C1 preferred).
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Administration of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, routing, ports.
• Web servers/reverse proxies: IIS, Apache, Nginx.
• Relational databases and SQL.
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Virtualization: VMware, Hyper‑V or similar.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS or other major providers.
• CI/CD pipelines, version control and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure monitoring, logging, backup and recovery.
• Information security principles, system hardening, access management, certificate administration.
