Inside Sales Representative

About the role

A US engineering and environmental consulting firm is hiring an Inside Sales Representative in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to connect prospective clients with its engineering, environmental and construction solutions. The position is on-site, day shift (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern Time, weekends off), with a competitive salary and full compliance with Dominican statutory benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Research target companies, markets and project opportunities, and identify decision-makers and contacts, including professional email addresses
• Maintain prospect lists, company profiles, research notes and follow-up status in Microsoft Excel
• Support outbound email and phone outreach, draft professional messages introducing company services and capabilities, and coordinate follow-ups and meetings
• Prepare handoff emails summarizing opportunities and contacts for regional teams, and escalate urgent or high-value opportunities
• Support outreach before and after conferences and business development events
• Keep accurate records of outreach activities and follow-up actions

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, business development support, lead generation or prospect research
• Strong written English and clear, professional verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with regional teams and business development colleagues
• Preferred: experience in AEC, engineering consulting, environmental consulting or similar professional services, and in outbound outreach or appointment setting

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with LinkedIn and other online research tools
• Strong research, follow-up and organizational skills
• Preferred: familiarity with AI tools for research and content drafting
