Human Resources Manager – Live Entertainment

About the role

SD Concerts, a leading live‑entertainment producer in the Dominican Republic, is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead its HR function in Santo Domingo. The role partners with senior leadership to design and deliver people strategies that support rapid growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR business partner, advising managers on employee relations, performance issues and disciplinary actions.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, compensation, benefits, engagement and off‑boarding.
• Ensure compliance with Dominican labor laws, social security requirements and internal policies, coordinating with the Tesorería de la Seguridad Social (TSS) and legal advisors.
• Maintain accurate employee data and transactions in Workday, including organizational structures and job information.
• Lead talent and performance management initiatives, supporting managers in setting expectations and delivering feedback.
• Drive employee engagement and retention programs aligned with company objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within a fast‑moving or entertainment environment.
• Strong knowledge of Dominican Republic labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to influence leaders.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution capability.
