HR Generalist

About the role

The HR Generalist will support VISHAY and its assigned entities by shaping and executing the overall HR strategy, policies, and guidelines. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on operational support to ensure effective HR processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain HR strategy, policies and guidelines for VISHAY or assigned entities.
• Plan, coordinate and execute HR projects, programs, initiatives and surveys.
• Manage HR operations including performance management, leave administration, disciplinary actions, disputes and legal claims.
• Identify staffing and recruitment needs and drive effective recruitment programs.
• Utilize HR systems and tools such as HRIS and HR cloud services to improve efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Provide non‑routine analytics and serve as a second‑level support for HR inquiries.
• Support the design and implementation of functional guidelines to enhance HR effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law and best practices.
• Experience in managing HR projects and delivering analytics.
• Ability to act as an escalation point and provide clear guidance to coordinators and stakeholders.
• Excellent judgment and independent decision‑making in HR matters.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR cloud services.
