Buyer II

About the role

Integer is seeking a Buyer II to manage purchase orders, supplier relationships, and inventory flow to support production lines. The role ensures timely delivery of raw materials while adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, place, cancel, and reschedule purchase orders with approved suppliers.
• Request quotations, follow up, and analyze purchase price variance.
• Prepare annual purchase budgets and standard cost estimates.
• Maintain supply‑chain flow, monitor delivery dates, and coordinate receipt, inspection, and release of raw material.
• Administer inventory levels, manage excess or slow‑moving stock, and update Supplier Performance Reports.
• Develop cost‑reduction initiatives and collaborate with Quality, Finance, and Engineering teams on corrective actions, supplier changes, and payment issues.

Required profile

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred in Business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of buying or procurement experience.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Office suite and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Knowledge of inventory management methods: VMI, KanBan, Min‑Max, MRP.
• APICS certification or equivalent supply‑chain knowledge.
