Assistant Manager - Media Enabled Services

About the role

Tata Communications is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee day‑to‑day network operations across Media Enabled Services. The role involves managing network, SD‑WAN, cloud, security, collaboration, mobility and IoT domains, ensuring platform uptime and handling customer change requests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand infrastructure to improve field and network efficiency.
• Drive proactive and reactive fault management, including incident handling and customer communication.
• Coordinate with OEMs to resolve repeat issues, bugs and implement changes through a defined change‑management process.
• Identify manual, repetitive tasks and lead automation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain SOP documentation for change control to minimise errors.
• Monitor network performance, manage equipment maintenance and security operations across all sites.
• Perform installation, testing, repair and maintenance of new network equipment to ensure optimal service delivery.

Required profile

• Graduation degree with 4‑7 years of relevant experience in network operations.
• Strong troubleshooting experience for network, equipment and service‑level faults.
• Ability to produce comprehensive vulnerability assessment reports.
• Understanding of manual testing techniques to reduce false positives/negatives.
