About the role
The Accountant II will maintain and analyze Jabil's accounting and cost accounting systems, working independently with general supervision. This role supports financial reporting, cost analysis, and inventory valuation across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and subsidiary reports.
- Review and analyze general ledger balances, verify accuracy, and recommend corrections.
- Perform monthly reconciliations, cost accounting entries, and margin analysis.
- Analyze financial transactions, costing issues, PPV, and product cost variances.
- Collaborate with Materials Departments to ensure accurate product costing and conduct inventory audits.
Required profile
- Ability to present information clearly to managers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in using a personal computer with Windows operating system and related software.
- Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil’s internal software packages.
