Remote Business Development Representative – Cold Calling Lead Generation

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Remote Business Development Representative to drive outbound cold‑calling campaigns and generate qualified leads for Excell BPO. In this full‑time position you will introduce our BPO services to prospective clients, qualify prospects, and set up appointments for the senior sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain daily call lists targeting relevant market segments.
• Execute outbound calls following scripts, adapting messaging to each prospect’s needs.
• Document call outcomes and lead information in the company CRM.
• Research target markets, identify decision‑makers, and qualify leads against predefined criteria.
• Achieve daily and weekly activity targets for calls, contacts, and appointments.
• Collaborate with the sales team to refine messaging and improve lead quality.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal English, strong listening skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in outbound calling, lead generation or telesales, preferably in a BPO environment.
• Resilient and persistent when handling objections and high call volumes.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and able to work remotely with reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales or marketing training is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM or lead‑management tools.
