Assembly Associate I – Operator

About the role

The Associate I, Assembly plays a key role in the assembly process of products, verifying components and ensuring compliance with quantity and quality standards. This position conducts quality inspections on the assembly line, reports defects, and investigates root causes while operating packaging equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up workstations as directed while complying with GMPs, policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Assemble product packages according to DHR, special instructions, and video imaging.
• Verify components in the assembly process to ensure proper selection and that quality and quantity standards are met.
• Inspect components for debris or any other potential quality defect and report defects to management and the quality team.
• Perform duties in compliance with all safety regulations required by the company, local, state, and federal provisions.
• Comply with the NCI & Defect Investigation Form process to ensure proper management and resolution of quality issues.

Required profile

• 0‑1 years of experience (preferred).
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within the assigned area.
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.
• Works on basic and routine assignments under clear Standard Operating Procedures.
• Adheres to all quality guidelines and works under close supervision.
• All work is reviewed for accuracy; any deviations require supervisor approval.
