About the role

Saint George School is seeking an Upper School Math Teacher to join its British International curriculum team beginning August 2026. The role involves delivering rigorous, inquiry‑based mathematics instruction for IGCSE and IB programmes, fostering student agency and global competencies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, student‑centered math lessons aligned with Cambridge, IB and NAE standards.
• Implement inquiry‑driven and interdisciplinary units that integrate global perspectives and real‑world applications.
• Assess student progress using standards‑based evaluation, provide clear feedback, and use data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with content specialists, instructional coaches, and colleagues to refine best practices and ensure curricular coherence.
• Mentor students through academic advising, university counseling and support for extended essays or theses.

• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including ELLs and students with accommodations.
