Travel Plan Specialist – Product Management & Support

About the role

This role supports the mission of the Church by ensuring travel teachings, resources, and services are accessible, affordable, and efficiently managed. You will oversee travel tools, processes, and vendor relationships, providing technical and operational support across the entire Travel office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and provide technical support for existing travel tools, products, and processes.
• Plan and execute implementation of new or modified travel tools and processes.
• Track and evaluate vendor, tool, and service provider performance against commitments.
• Identify partner needs, develop service action plans, and manage relationships.
• Support Regional Operations Managers and Area Travel Offices as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent supervisory/management experience.
• At least seven years of travel‑industry experience, including one year in a Church travel office.
• Minimum two years on a Travel Support Services team.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with travel system and tool suppliers.
• Experience leading cross‑functional, multi‑geographic teams.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Solid financial, analytical, and information‑systems aptitude.
