About the role

The Support Specialist III provides advanced administrative support within a functional area, handling complex tasks and serving as a resource for problem resolution. This role involves communicating with internal and external customers and adapting processes to meet departmental needs.

Key responsibilities

• Applies advanced skills and procedures appropriate for the position and assists others in resolving complex issues.
• Schedules, reports, and tracks departmental information, collecting data for reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Compiles and collates data into comprehensive reports and may assist in preparing, reviewing, or auditing them.
• Supports more complex research and investigation, prepares analyses, and may train or lead lower‑level employees.

Required profile

• Proficient in basic office practices, procedures, and mathematical calculations.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to build effective working relationships, work independently, and provide courteous, timely service to customers.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, under stress and high‑workload conditions.

Required skills
