Supply Operations Coordinator

About the role

SOL Republica Dominicana is looking for a Supply Operations Coordinator based in Santo Domingo, reporting to the Group Supply Chain Manager. The role captures data on all voyages loaded and discharged, provides reports, records, analyzes, verifies and codes transactions in support of the contractual strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate shipping and inspector source documentation on volumes, product quality and load dates.
• Receive purchase orders transferred by markets and produce sales invoices when comparing POs to supplier and freight forwarder invoices.
• Reconcile PRNI at month end and produce the required month-end reports.
• Produce demurrage invoices accurately and on time.
• Produce cost build-ups and enter purchase orders in the corporate financial accounting system for all products.
• Receive products into inventory at port, vessel and storage origin.
• Use outturn reports and Bill of Lading information to produce final cost build-ups and submit them for approval.
• Produce all applicable import documentation, including manual invoices, proformas, CARICOM and commercial documents, within custom-mandated deadlines.
• Perform other duties compatible with the level of the position as assigned from time to time.

Required profile

• A university degree (business administration, finance or accounting preferred).
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis.
• Well organized, analytical and able to deliver results on time; hard working, detail oriented, with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel at intermediate to advanced level.
