Supply Chain Development Coordinator – Healthcare

About the role

The Supply Chain Development Coordinator supports the Supply Chain Development Manager in implementing supply chain strategies for Jabil’s healthcare business unit. This role provides direct interaction with customers and helps drive planning, inventory, and supplier initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the manager in managing customer supply‑chain relationships and executing Jabil’s standard planning and inventory strategies.
• Develop and maintain a Master Production Schedule that aligns with customer contracts, material availability, equipment capacity and staffing.
• Lead product launch and transfer plans, ensuring continuity of supply and managing buffer inventory during transitions.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports, recommend cost‑reduction initiatives, and support recovery of excess or obsolete inventory.
• Communicate customer needs to Commodity Management, Operations Materials Management and Business Unit Buyers, and manage quarterly material quotation cycles.
• Identify, qualify and negotiate with new or alternate suppliers, focusing on pricing, payment terms, JIT delivery and inventory optimization.

Required profile

• Strong leadership potential and ability to work with both domestic and international teams.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience in electronics or mechanical manufacturing, materials management, or supply‑chain planning.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Required skills

• Understanding of electronics/mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Experience with materials planning, inventory control, and supplier negotiation.
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable reports.
