About the role

The Fiscal and Tax Supervisor will lead the preparation of annual tax returns for a portfolio of clients, ensure the quality of monthly filings, address medium‑complexity tax queries, and actively support tax audits and planning under the direction of the Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual corporate income tax (ISR) and IR‑2 returns for assigned clients.
• Review and approve monthly tax filings according to the DOA matrix.
• Prepare technical tax‑planning analyses, including projected savings, associated risks, and implementation schedules.
• Handle medium‑complexity tax inquiries from clients and internal teams.
• Draft initial responses to DGII (Dominican tax authority) requests and support the Director in audit meetings.
• Identify and propose new tax‑planning opportunities for existing clients.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date repository of firm‑wide technical criteria and resolved cases.
• Conduct weekly operational team meetings and coordinate information flow with Accounting and BPO units.
• Participate in semi‑annual and annual performance evaluations of Seniors and Analysts.
• Deliver monthly internal training on DGII regulatory updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; a tax specialization or diploma is highly valued.
• Minimum 5 years of tax practice, including at least 2 years as a Senior with direct technical responsibility.
• Documented experience preparing annual tax returns and responding to DGII requirements.
• Native Spanish speaker with intermediate English proficiency.
