Strategic Resource Management Consultant

About the role

The IDB Group is seeking a Strategic Resource Management Consultant to support the implementation of an IT Financial Management tool and drive financial and resource planning across its Technology and Transformation Department.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring product‑level OKRs and ensure alignment with institutional priorities.
• Collaborate with product teams on budgeting for RUN, GROW, and TRANSFORM initiatives.
• Support governance processes for prioritization and funding decisions.
• Prepare executive reports and dashboards on budget execution, investment performance, and cost transparency.
• Help implement and adopt the IT Financial Management (ITFM) tool to improve cost transparency and funding allocation.
• Assist in preparing, allocating, and monitoring capital and administrative budgets, including investment proposals.
• Monitor financial resource usage and track value generated by investments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, cost management, or related analytical roles.
• Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English; French or Portuguese is a plus.
• Citizenship of a IDB Group member country and eligibility to work without sponsorship.
